I think that is everything...I rushed through as I am feeling very anxious!!! (also why this write-up is not nearly as nice as the others I have made).

Anyways I am DYING for your guys' opinions! Is this good to go? Do you see any room for improvment? Thanks!

PSU- a good 750w is perfectly fine. XFX Black editions are a better buy ATM, cheaper and better PSU's.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817207003&Tpk=xfx%20750

SSD- 64 gb SF SSD, is really pushing it size wise. I'd recommend an Intel x25-M 80gb instead. $175

HSF- really don't need that for a SB CPU. They've very cool running. Go with a $30 CM hyper 212+ (combo's with the i5-2500k) or a scythe mugen if you want same performance for less.

Case- Really don't need that monster. A HAF 922 w/ side fan is just as good at cooling and while slightly smaller, is as large as most full tower cases.

KB and mouse. Those are very distinct products which take getting used to. Don't just buy em on a whim, you honestly should test them out yourself to see if they fit you.

Rest looks fine.

I should have probably added, I plan to run an SLI setup in the future (probably once xmas money comes rolling in). That is my reason for the larger PSU and case. I thought 64GB might be a bit small but if I only put the OS, a few games I don't think it will get that close, do you?

Lastly, I have put a lot of thought into the CPU fan and I wasn't really sure...I initially went witht he 212+ and then changed my mind as I would rather be safe than sorry since I plan on overclocking...this is my first build as well so I might just be overly cautious perhaps.

Thanks for the suggestions though and I am concidering the larger SSD and maybe downgrading the CPU cooler.

A midtower case is designed to hold 2 gpu + full size HSF + 4-6 HD + 4-6 5.25 bays.

Trust me, you're not gonna even be close to having an issue with a standard Midatx case, nevermind the enormous 922.

Current mobo, like I mentioned can't be used for SLI. You can sli 570's on a 750W xfx easy. It's 750W of + 12V (ok 744), another 150w from +3 and +5. It's a Seasonic PSU, hence the huge underrating. Lower end manf would call it a 900w PSU.

SSD wise:
Win 7 20gb
Basic apps 10gb

Unless you do lots of tweaking
System restore- 5gb
Page file- 4gb
Hibernation support -2gb
Unless you junction- games install/save lots of stuff onto main drive- so another 2-4gb.
Temp files and other stuff that builds up over time-~2gb after a few months
Spare space to maintain SSd performance- SF1200 12% of total space or 7.7gb

total before games:50-56gb.

So yea, stuff adds up fast. 64gb means basically, 1 game or CS5 and no games.

Don't mean to keep bumping but does anyone else have any additional input? I am hoping to buy tonight so I don't mean to be impatient but you know...it's like looking at presents but not being able to open them!

Yea mobo does support dual x8, got your thread mixed up with someone else's, he linked a GA mobo which didn't. sorry.

Vertex 2's current have a bad rep. Basically, OCZ swapped em to 25nm which decreased storage space and made performance worse, without changing model number or telling anyone. Not to mention their drives have the highest failure rate, intel by far the lowest
http://www.anandtech.com/show/4202/the-intel-ssd-510-review/3

Basically, I don't trust OCZ at this point. Btwn this fiasco, them leaving the RAM business altogether, (they've had very bad RAM last few years) and them buying and then turning PC P&C from one of the best PSU makers into an average company at best...
PC P&C used to use seasonic PSU's. After OCZ took over, they switched to the much crappier Sirta to boost their profits.

Suffice to say that didn't go too well.
