Screeching noise through speakers & headset

Hi, I have this problem when i minimize some games it makes a horribly loud screeching noise through speakers and headsets. This only happens when i minimize games, It plays music fine trough winamp, spotify just fine but only does it with games. If i reload the game it seems to stop. But it's happening more and more often.

Can you help ?

I have a on-board sound card, do you think it is damaged ?

mine will do a similar issue when I close games. I have an ASUS xonar DG. It happens rarely and is probably just a driver issue. same for your probably a driver problem. Did you try updating them?
