Red Light on Motherboard | Does not turn ON!

Hello,

I've got a rig with i7 950 and it's working on Intel Workstation (server) motherboard with ATI Radeon 5850 GPU along with Coolermaster 600W PSU.

Yesterday, I installed Ubuntu over windows and booted to windows and it was fine.

All of a sudden, I saw a red light glowing and I turned off PC. I saw that GPU got very hot.

Now when I turn on the PC, the fans start for about 2 seconds and turn off automatically. (PC would halt).

I have

■ Removed the GPU and tried turning on - Same behaviour. (Might not be a GPU issue?)

I have tried to google it but they speak something of resetting power, which I'm not sure.

Can anyone help me out?

[UPDATE] I get three beeps now.

It says memory error. does this include only ram? I'm confused now!

I reseated the memory I still get this. Also, RAM's were working earlier. Do you want me to change the slot?

how many sticks of the RAM do u have?

Run only with 1 and if it fails, run another one and so on ...
