or some motherboard that will use some existing parts I have for a 3rd computer on my LAN: it needs to be able to use two sticks of 168-pin ram, a palamino 1900+ 1.6 GHz cpu, and a GF4 Ti4200... I have a Matsonic MS8308 motherboard that will do all of this, but it bacame unstable when I upgraded from a GF2 to the GF4...

Low price online is $34 shipped for the K7S5A, so I am thinking someone has this classic ECS board around collecting dust that they want to sell cheap for a good gaming cause...

I am tempted to put my old Ti4200 in my mother's computer... help me save my aging workhorse of a video card and mail me a K7S5A...

But really, if I do that, I will be stuck with an ATI 7500 in my LAN computer... I want my Ti4200 there...

What do you want to spend for a motherboard? There are a lot of boards that will take that card. I have a Ti4200 sitting in a box but I had it in a DFI NF2 Ultra Rev. B until I removed it for a better card.

Got a LAN Party that you want people to know about?

Let me know about it.

With a morgage payment all of a sudden and a second child, I am looking at $20... expecially because this 3rd LAN computer will not be used very often...

I might be able to trade my Ti4200 to a friend for his ATI 9100 and some cash... I might end up doing that...
