Approximate Purchase Date: March 19

Budget Range: $400

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Programming with NetBeans, 720p video (no games though).

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg.com

Country of Origin: USA

Parts Preferences: No preference, but quality parts.

Overclocking: No

SLI or Crossfire: No

Monitor Resolution: 1440x900

Additional Comments: I am seeking to build a computer that I can program with NetBeans and is able to play videos on NetFlix, Youtube, and Hulu. If at all possible, it must be fairly quiet.

---

I have built a system around this, but I am not sure if it is suitable for what I am wanting or afraid it may not be capable of doing some things...

AMD Zacate Motherboard by Gigabyte

Crucial Memory, 4GB

WD Scorpio Black 320GB

Antec Case

Thanks.

With $400 I'd look at the Phenom II X2 555/550/545. One of those.

And a good budget card would be the Radeon HD 5570, or the GT 440.
