Plastic is in way of graphics card

Hi, I have a problem. I put this video card into my system two or three years ago, and now I can't figure out how to get it out. There's a piece of plastic in the way, and it seems stuck into place. I have no idea how it got there in the first place.

That's what it looks like. How can I go about resolving this? (the card burned out so I'm replacing it)

  1. It looks like your tool-less tabs are in the way. Lift each of the 2 retaining the GPU up towards the rear fan and then slide them away from the GPU.
  2. Whelp, THG gave me one of those e-mails to select the best answer...anyways, so what I did in the end was remove the plastic tabs from the case by unscrewing the holder from the back of the case.

Hope that helps someone in the future.
