Hello,
where is the difference between the both graphic cards GTX460 and GTX460 SE. Both have 1024 MB, DVI, HDMI, VGA.

Thanks for your help

460 se is a cut back bertion of the 460 chip as the review above shows

288 cores vs the 336 in the 460 1 gig, 48 texture units instead of 56, and 6 polymorph engines instead of 7

performance is usually between the 460 786 meg and the regular 460 1 gig

i should add that that is at higher resolutions where it uses the 1 gig, if you play at low res the non cut back 460 786 meg is better

Same core just fewer enabled shaders and texture units. They can still be used in sli so long they have the same device id with a normal gtx 460. The SE can still be a decent performer compared to the 768mb version GTX 460 however it will not match a 1GB level performance of the 336 version. Lower power and lower thermals which might help overclocking.
