Is my cpu fried

I had a asus M8AGTD PRO motherboard after i installed it the system wouldnt boot at all,the fans would work but thats it.I returned the motherboard and got a asus crosshair IV and im still having the same problem.Im not getting any beeps from the motherboard at all im wondering if my cpu is faulty

Do you have another CPU you can test? That's the only *real* way of determining if your CPU is dead.
