hi, i was thinking... i wanted to buy a new platform: Athlon 640, Asrock 880gm and 4gb ddr3 ram, but then i saw that the difference between the Athlon and the Phenom 955 was only like 10-15 € (Spain), and i thought buying it. But the problem is my PSU: i have a Trust 370w and i don`t know if would handle the system for now; later i`ll change it.
With that configuration i`m using a Radeon HD 4650 512M ddr2, and the other stuff: DVD-RW, a usb adapter, an usb card reader...
Could anybody tell me if the psu would handle the Phenom or should i buy the Athlon? I`ve been looking on the forum for the Phenom reviews and i saw the systems weren`t exceeding 370w and with a more powerful gpu. One more thing, i am not planning to overclock it. Thank you a lot!!

wow man, with this one you can make a really good idea of what you need.. IT HELPED me a lot!! i put everything i have and it says minimum around 300w, so i have 370w, would that be alright?
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

Depends how good the PSU is. I haven't been able to find much info on Trust. It would definitely be easy to find a 370W PSU that would blow up, no matter how much load you put on it. How much did you pay for this thing?
Generally, 370 would be fine.
