COMPAQ Presario SR17119UK Freezes on Load Up before RAM Test

Hi, I haev a COMPAQ Presario SR1719UK, I'm trying to figure out a problem with it but I can barely run any diagnostics because it doesn't even succeed to boot. It freezes before it even starts to load. It's a fairly old PC and I'm hoping that it's a simple fix, like a BIOS reset or something. Any suggestions? Thanks. Screenshots will hopefully help.

What I'd do in your situation is open up the case, clean it out if need be, remove the RAM, CPU, and battery, then replace everything and reboot the system. Keep in mind that by removing the battery on your motherboard all your BIOS settings will be cleared, so if it works then you'll have to at least set the date/time.

Many thanks for your helpful reply.
I have taken out all the RAM, just put one stick in, then tried in different sockets, then tried with more ram and the same issue occurs. The first thing I did was take out the BIOS battery, now it shows the splash of Compaq but still freezes. I'm sure it's a motherboard issue Do you think it's a complete goner or is there some sort of forceful diagnostics fix I can proceed to? Thanks
