I wanted to see how many complete working systems members have setup.

This means full setups working with kybd/mouse/monitor

also laptops and netbooks count

So lets see who is the "Biggest Computer Freak" on Toms

Computers at work do count if you own the business

Myself personally I have 3 systems setup

with another 10 I could hook up
if I wanted to blow every circuit in the house LOl

Current primary PC, see specs below.

A HTPC; my former primary PC which I basically gutted and put everything into a SilverStone Crown CW02B case.

My old IBM ThinkPad T40 laptop which I basically use to make out going phone calls using MagicJack. I might install Far Cry (or some other old game) on the old thing just to goof around with it.

3 In the house but I own 2. My primary is:
AMD 1055t 6 Core (Will OC some day to around 3.6)
12GB DDR3
1GB Super Clocked GTX 460
750w Corsair PSU
500GB HDD

you know jaguarskx one of these days you will have to upgrade from XP

I love XP Pro and still run it on my wife's computer so I am not a hater

but its days are numbered

I think support from M$ ends in 2014?

also no DX11 support from what I understand

Can't disagree with that. Its amazing how quickly the mobile tech has developed. CPU speeds are touching (few have crossed) 1GHz mark. There are already dual core models out. Dedicated GPU's are becoming performance factors. Kind of surprising actually that a cell phone requires to be this much powerful.

I sold cell phones from 1998 to 2007 for RadioShack USA

I remember when the Motorola StarTac (one of the first flips with the battery on the lid) was the hottest thing LOL

I remember when they didnt have high res screens
I remember when all they were used for was CALLING somebody LMAO

Now I can control my DVR recording, play Angry Birds, watch porn all at the
same time!

1. Yeong Yang YY-0221 Server Cube Case (10 years old now!), MSI 770-G45, Phenom II 955, Dual-fan MSI GTX560, 2x2 RAID 10 - 160GB, 3x0 RAID 0 ~600GB, 8GB G.Skill Ripjaws DDR3-1600, RaidMAX 730W PSU, 6x 80MM fans @ 7V, 4 120MM fans (1@7v), LG DVD-RW w/ LS (LG IS BEST!!), Water-cooling: 240 MM Swiftech Rad, Enzotech SCW-rev.a, 1/2" plumbing, TT Pump+Reservoir+Front Panel AquaTemp display. CPU idles at 29C, maxes about 45C... no overclocking, it's a development machine! Runs Windows 7 Ultimate as the only OS (for now), all others run in VMWare/VBox.

2. Generic Full Tower, black on gray, Asrock A790GXH/128M (**GREAT BOARD**) AM2+, Athlon II X3 - 3GHz, 2x2GB OCZ Reaper DDR2-1066, GTS450, Coolmax 450W PSU, 250GB SATA2 7.2k HDD, some generic DVD-RW, 3x 80MM fans, stock CPU cooler. Testing / g/f's OTHER play thing ;-) Windows 7 HP.

3. Dell XPS 900 Server, 4GB ECC RAM, Core 2 Duo E6400, 160GB SATA, 500GB SATA, 1.5TB SATA. Downgraded video to some generic PCI, removed half of the RAM, and downgraded CPU to pentium 4 over the years (server is light-load file server, serves one media-heavy web-site, and runs Ubuntu 10.4 core, with custom software setup (w/ Apache server, Samba, and a special little something relate to HaikuOS...).

4. Toshiba Satellite 17" Laptop, 1.8GHz Pentium-m dual core, 2GB DDR2, temporary 20GB hard drive, Ubuntu 11.10 going on soon, solid state drive not soon enough...

5. Dell PowerEdge T105 AM2 server: Opteron 2120, IIRC (1.8GHz), 1GB ECC DDR2, 80GB SATA drive, no software currently installed, no use currently determined - will probably make a bargain-basement machine for the neighbors...

6. Dell Inspiron Laptop - bad battery, missing a couple keys - parts/rebuild
7. HP DV-6 Laptop, 19" wide, camera, burnt out GPU :-(
8. Compaq R3000 - too old to be useful, but works...
9. Compaq something - used for car's OBD2 ;-)
10. HP pavillion - p4 HT era, mobo burnt, no HDD
11. HP pavillion - P4D805, no RAM, ATM, no HDD
12. Apple MacPro (old) - no keyboard until recently, haven't messed w/it
13. OLD Compaq server, Pentium Pro, PSU defective, suspect all is toast :-(
14. Home-brew server, Athlon XP 1800+, 512MB SD? RAM, 20GB boot, 120GB storage + 250GBx2 storage - unused, but functional if I were to take the time to replace a couple caps on the motherboard.. (just a bit unstable).
15. Dell Dimension 3000 - good - P4, 512MB SD-RAM, 250GB HDD, DVD-RAM

I think there are a few more in the back room, but I don't know what they are off hand...

Hmm.. I really need to start moving inventory!!

Oh.. do y'all care about printers, scanners, monitors and such?? I've got plenty!! (slowly getting rid of it ALL, though...)
