Can I get some feed back on graphics selection for a pair of optiplex 760 desktops. The low profile cards are necessary, lower power consumption as well (255w ps). Multiple monitors is a consideration (the nvs 420 was considered). Use - most often it is multiple low graphic intensive applications, streaming data is a draw on resources. VStudio and Adobe Suite are used on a lower frequency. DX11 is not necessary. Gaming is not an issue.
Anyway I wish to give these 2 yr old desktops a boost on an expected 5yr life. What is the value of the workstation graphics card (over consumer grade)? Perhaps it is comparing apples to oranges but which is better for this application?
