Recently I bought a Sapphire RADEON HD 4650 AGP 8x video card and the CD-ROM that came with it has printed on it that it
supports Win-7, XP, Vista. It only supports 32 and 64-bit XP and 32-bit Vista. The suite version is v9.8. It works fine with 64-bit
XP but when I D/Led the latest suite and AGP Hotfix (v10.12) for XP 64-bit and Win-7 64-bit, it freezes the system under each
O/S. For Win-7 64-bit, I installed the latest suite and Hotfix one at a time (not both together) and it freezes the system. So, I
reverted back to the generic Microsoft driver and the card and CRT doesn't get recognized. It just says "Non P-n-P monitor"
and "Standard VGA Graphics Card" and AERO doesn't work. Anyone with a solution would be greatly appreciated. Sapphire
gave me little "tech support" ranging from "download from ATI the latest suite" and "the video card is bad".

AMD/ATI was contacted and they replied that the mainboard (TYAN Thunder K8W S2885) with AMD's chipset (AMD-8000
Series) doesn't support Win-7 64-bit, just up to Win-XP 64-bit. Many kind thanks to all who tried to help.
