Hello,

I have a router as described in the above title which is probably 5-7 years old. Recently, I have experienced connecting problems with the router to where I can not use it. I have tried several ethernet cables...not the problem. So, the question I have is like anything piece of equipment, does it fail with time and age?

Equipment certainly can fail with age. Is it intermittent (or did it start failing that way)?
If you can possibly upgrade the firmware.
