Initially when I set up my computer, I had the memory sticks in slots 1 and 3, as instructed by the manual.
When I started the computer it would run for exactly 7 seconds, and then shut down, over and over again until I disconnected the power.
I then loaded just 1 stick into the 1 slot. it worked. I tried the other stick into the 1 slot. It worked. I tried the same thing for slot 2, it worked, 3 and 4 did not work.

So I loaded the memory into slots 1 and 2 and ran a memory test and it failed. I then set the ram to its settings on newegg.
1.6 Voltage
7-8-7-24 timing
1600 up from 1333.

When I re ran the test on slots 1 and 2 it passed!! yay!

I tried slots 1 and 3 again, and the computer is resetting the way it did before.

I want to take advantage of dual channel memory, but cant in 1 and 3 or 2 and 4. Does anyone have any suggested solutions?

Thanks! :)
