GIGABYTE Silent Series GV-R575SL - thumbs up or down?

Solution
Does either of your monitors accept 15-pin VGA? If so you could just use the onboard video DVI + VGA. Too bad you can't use HDMI and DVI at the same time on that board.

Anyways, to run dual digital you don't necessarily need a video card with 2x DVI. Look for one with 1x DVI and 1x HDMI. You can connect a DVI monitor to the HDMI port. HDMI and DVI are identical except HDMI carries audio. You will need to have a either a HDMI to DVI adapter (make sure it has a male HDMI side) or you can use a DVI to HDMI video cable and skip the adapter. If you want to get fancy, you could leave the onboard video enabled and use the onboard DVI for one monitor, and one DVI from a video card at the same time.
