ever been woken up by your laptop

got woken up this morning at 5am, my laptop which I have left in its'
case on standy switched itself on and started playing music, then the
low battery alarm and windows alert sounds.. I was totally bemused by
it. though I was hearing next doors computer through the wall or
somthgin ! I think it detected the battery was low and powered itself
up to flush the memory to disk and tried to shutdown windows properly!
quite clever really..
