Alright so I've decided it would be in my best interest to get more acquianted with my potential hardware. I want to build a pc that can handle a lot of sound architecture and vsti instruments operating al at the same time with out freezing or lag. Yes I' am more into producing rather than gaming but obviously I'll still have some gaming needs. So this is what I have been "kinda" considering:
6 core I7 970
12 gb DDR3 1600
ATI radeon 5770
ASUS P6X58D-E, USB 3.0, S-ATA 3.0
RAID
thats it so far... So whats a good route to go for sound card? hard drives or solid state(dual or single)? Processor cooling? Sorry for so much questions just unsure what I might be getting into. thanks for the help!
