Hello, just got a second, MSI GTX 460 Hawk Talon Attack card, set up in SLI, everything, looks great, but when I play Games , the picture on the bottom seems, to flicker, I tried, two different games, same result, when I disable, SLI , everything, seems fine, Called msi they said it is my Power Supply, Drivers are up to date, Sli bridge works to, Played Cryssis, and the Power Supply, got so hot , I thought, it is going to Blow up, same with, the 2 Gtx 460, temps went well over 130 , System and CPU, at 100, A 1000 W Power Supply, should be, enough to run 2 Cards, in Sli ???????, without having the System run that hot????

Not necessarily. Kingston isn't a tier one ps. You should have asked for advice first. I recommend antec, corsair, enermax, or seasonic for quality brands that pass the load test more often than lesser rated brands.

All of Kingwin's power supplies are made by Super Flower.

Of the three 1000 Watt Kingwin power supplies that JonnyGURU tested none of them have received a Recommended rating.

The only reason I bought, the Lazer LZ-1000, was the price, for 100$, at Newegg , Black Friday sale

Your system probably will not pull more than about 450 watts out of the PSU. So, assuming that your PSU is working correctly, lack of power is not your problem.

One of my systems has an OC'd Q9550, 4 GB RAM, a GTX260 - a card with similar power requirements to yours, a Gigabyte EP45-UD3P motherboard, 3 hard drives and an optical, and a Soundblaster card all powered by a Corsair 750TX.

Running 3 instances of Prime95 to load the CPU and 3DMark06 to load the GPU, it pulls 375 watts from the wall as measured by my Kill-a-Watt meter. Figuring 80% efficiency, the system pulls 300 watts from the PSU.

A system with SLI'ed GPU's will pull about 150 watts more.

Lack of power is clearly not the problem.

The Kingwin power supplies tended to suffer from poor ripple suppression.

Only the Kingwin Lazer Platinum Series seems to have real quality and doesn't suffer from any voltage regulation, noise suppression or ripple suppression problems.

It will pull more then 450 at full load, I would never try to run dual gtx 460's off of lower then 750 watts better safe then sorry.

Then it is my Power Supply, that's, faulty, just running one GTX 460, everything looks good, the System never got that hot, and the Kingwin Power Supply its not made for SLI, will it damage my system over time???

Do one card at a time and see if it is one of the cards that is bad.

I use ocz and it works great, but I don't know who manufacturer's their high end stuff. Antec, corsair, and seasonic are safer brands to deal with. The 850w should be adequate if it has over 60 amps on a single 12v rail.
