What do you think of the following build?

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Motherboard: ASUS M4A88TD-M EVO/USB3

CPU: AMD Athlon II X4 640

Video Card: ASUS Radeon HD 6850 1GB GDDR5 EAH6850

RAM: 2x KINGSTON 2GB 1333MHz DDR3 KVR1333D3N9/2G

PSU: Antec EarthWatts EA-430-EC

Case: COOLER MASTER Elite 430

Optical drive: SAMSUNG SH-S223L

HDD: SAMSUNG SpinPoint F3 500GB 7k 16MB SATA300 HD502HJ

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This will be my first build, so can you tell me if the components are even compatible? :??:
I am looking for a reliable and quite fast PC for a low price.

Thanks in advance!

EDIT: changed PSU, HDD and case selection.

No, I don't think we have those in my country.

A quality one - yes ^^ The EA380 80+B featured in

Toms Dec 2010 $500 USD SBM

The HD 6850 is a wee bit more efficient than a GTX 460 as well

Is Antec EarthWatts EA-430-EC also OK? That's what I could find in my country.

Yep that would be fine ^^

Thanks a lot for your help, I appreciate it! :D

What can you tell me for the HDDs? Is either one of them good? I would like 500GB or more, but 320GB is also acceptable.

For 500GB i would hit F3 Samsung or 7200.12 Seagate so thats good to go Yep u are welcomed ^^

Are all other components OK or do you have some more comments?

Those psu suck. I would not cheap out on a psu you will regret it later when it dies and takes out most of your hardware.

Which PSUs? The ones in the first post or Antec EarthWatts EA-430-EC?

If he's saying that the original selection sucks, then he hasn't read any of this thread. If he's saying that Antec sucks, then he needs to do some research. Either way, disregard that message... ;)

With a decent PSU in the mix: if that 880G is pricey settle for something like a 770 chipset and either hit a better chip (955BE) if needs justify it or better case since u already hitting a discrete?

Are you saying that I should choose another case? If so which one?
PS The motherboard price is fine with me.

Yeah, I can get an Elite 430. What are the differences between those two (Elite 332 and 430)? Why is 430 better?

Actually these Yate Loon 120s are amongst the most bang for buck case fans for me ^^

If funds are tight at least start with 2 i.e 1 x intake and 1 x exhaust (rear)

I can't find those, but are the CM ones I mentioned fine?
