Im seriously so annoyed. Ive gone through 3 irons for higher wattages, replaced tip after tip, cleaned the motherboard surface time and time again and Ive tried 3 different solders.

My solder is sticking to the capacitor lead, I have the iron tip tinned and cleaned. Im watching people on youtube get theirs to flow like butter and I follow their directions to the T

someone help me out. thats all there is to it, Im failing hardcore here and am about to rip out my hair

Capacitors store electrical energy. I would suggest placing a small dot of solder on the mother board first & then placing the capacitor wire in it, that way you do not touch it with the solder gun.
Make sure you don't put solder on other areas of the mother board.
