Hello everyone I have a ASUS G60 VX

Here are my specs

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo P7450 2.13 GHZ
GPU: GeForce GTX260M 1GB GDDR3
RAM: 4GB DDR2
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium

Okay here is the problem, through VGA i get a good res of 1360x768 on my Sanyo 720p HDTV 24 Inch. I am wanting to use my HDMI to plug in due to the fact the quality is AMAZING, much easier on the eyes to me! The problem is it sets the res by default to 1280x720, half of my screen is pretty much cut off at this res due to the HDTV's native res of 1360x768, now i can set a custom res of 1360x768 and it comes out AMAZING!! BUT!! it does not stay on, the test on the nvidia control panel is a success, but as soon as i click apply it goes right back to 1280x720. If anyone can please help me to get the resolution to stay at 1360x768 and not revert back to 1280x720 it would be great help!

I had this problem with my 8800GT @ 512MB.. it turns out that Windows 7's resolution manager overrides nVidia's control panel (which needs to be updated!). Anyways, set the custom resolution to 1360x768 via the Windows 7 resolution manager, then the nVidia control panel. Restart your computer, and see if it saved.
