Replacing Parts

Hello Forum!

Recently some of my computer's parts started failing so I decided to replace these. The affected parts are: Motherboard and CPU. My question is what parts do you recommend? My budget is fairly low (150-200$).

Some info:
GPU: ATI HD4870
RAM: 2x2048MB DDR2 from Kingston
PSU: Thermaltake PSU (450W)

Since the RAM is DDR2 would I need a CPU and Mobo that has DDR2 aswell? Also the CPU should be able to handle these well: Call of Duty Black Ops, Counter Strike, Rendering 3D/4D/Movie files.

BIOSTAR TA790XE AM2+/AM3 790X DDR2 Motherboard $70


Another option under $200
AMD Athlon II X3 450 Rana 3.2GHz Triple-Core CPU $80
MSI 870-G45 AM3 AMD 770 ATX AMD Motherboard $70
A-DATA 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3 1333 RAM $42

Both motherboards might be able to unlock the 4th core of the Athlon II X3 450 CPU.
