Budget build, please critique and comment!

Hi everyone, this is my first computer-building experience. I spent the last week pouring over stickies, guides and builds and came up with this combination of parts. Let me know what you think please!

Budget ~ $600

Priorities and use: I will be using a 32' 720 LCD TV a majority of the time, streaming episodes online to the TV through HDMI. This and watching DVD's and downloaded movies are the biggest priorities. Also i am student, so i'll be running windows 7 with a lot of use on windows office. I will be playing some games, but don't need to have the greatest resolutions (TV is only 720 anyways). But the games would be killing floor, TF 2, and Diablo 3 (But i'll hopefully upgrade by then). Also i will be making some video slideshows, and store a lot of photos and videos on my hard drive (I'm the official chronicler of an organization on campus).

All parts from newegg.

- AMD Athlon II X3 445 Rana 3.1GHz Socket AM3 95W Triple-Core Desktop Processor ADX445WFGMBOX

(Thinking about going x4, want computer to last and tinker with OC)

(Edit) Maybe going with this deal now at microcenter:
PHENOM II X4 840 Boxed Processor HDX840WFGMBOX
99$! Worth the improvement?

GIGABYTE GA-880GM-D2H AM3 AMD 880G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

(Plan on using HDMI port through here for streaming to LCD TV, is there an optical drive on this motherboard?)

- Kingston HyperX Blu 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model KHX1600C9D3B1K2/4GX

Power Supply

APEX AL-D500EXP 500W ATX12V Power Supply

(Was warned on an earlier post this was too cheap, can I go lower then 500w?)

Hard Drive
- Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 ST3500418AS 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive

cd/dvd player/burner
- ASUS Black 24X DVD+R 8X DVD+RW 12X DVD+R DL 24X DVD-R 6X DVD-RW 12X DVD-RAM 16X DVD-ROM 48X CD-R 32X CD-RW 48X CD-ROM 2MB Cache SATA 24X DVD Burner - Bulk - OEM

- NZXT Apollo Black SECC Steel Chassis ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

(I know its cheesy and lame, but I can't help it because my little cousins and sibling would get such a kick out of it =D)

Should i go with a graphic* card as well? The onboard one isn't great, but to get one substantially better, I feel like I would have to spend some big $$. Save up for it later? Mt friends offered me his old one for free

XFX PVT88PYDQ4 GeForce 8800 GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

But I need HDMI port, so wouldn't it be useless?

Thats it, any feedback at all would be amazing.
