I7 2600k temperature

my max temps are 69,74,74,71 degrees Celsius. my idle temp is 30,32,31,34 degrees Celsius. core speed is 4430.2 MHz. are my teperatures good. i have a corsair h50

That's not bad for an H50. If you want to OC higher and want to keep the self contained water theme, I'd suggest a Kuhler 620 to drop about 7.2 degrees C. The better air coolers (V6 GT , Silver Arrow) would pick you up another 4-5 C on top of that.....but it's kinda overkill for SB.

If your MoBo is so equipped, you might wanna make two BIOS profiles:

1. As you have now w/ HT enabled for every day use, and
2. One w/ HT disabled for gaming which should drop your temps 7 or more C ... prolly get your OC up to 4.6 and still stay below 72ish

i didn't even overclocked it my Asus p8z68 v-pro did it by itself with turbo boost or what ever it is called on. if i turn it off it stays at around 3500 Mhz with the same idle temp and around 57 max temperature
