Hi everybody,
I recently installed a second AMD HD 5770 in my computer. I unistalled the old drivers and reinstalled new ones, enabled Crossfire and all of the other fun stuff. I don't have any glitches or problems, just a curious observation:
Without any games playing if I check my cards' clock speed or memory speed, they show as 1/4 of my current settings. When I load up SC2 and start playing, the clock speeds jump up to the proper settings.
Make sense to me, but my single card didn't do this... is it a by-product of the Crossfire setup or the new drivers?
Thanks in advance everybody! This is still my first build, from a year ago:
Gigabyte GPA-890GX-UD3H
Athlon II X4 630
8 GB DDR3 RAM 1333MHz
Crossfired Sapphire HD 5770
