Hello clock245;

Can you return 2 of those 8GB RAM kits?
Everything else you have is good to go.

Keep your eye out for one of the good 1155 motherboard to get back in stock at NewEgg.
ASUS P8P67 DELUXE or ASRock P67 EXTREME6 or maybe Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD5 arriving

  • ASUS SATA 24X DVD Burner
  • XFX Radeon HD 6950 2GB 256-bit Video Card
  • XFX Black Edition 750W 80+ SILVER Modular PSU sized for a 2nd HD 6950
  • Thermaltake Frio Overclocking-Ready Five 8mm Heatpipes Dual 120mm Fans CPU cooler

  • Western Digital Caviar Black WD1002FAEX 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive
    about ~$672 before rebates ($60), taxes & shipping (also not including $250 or so for the motherboard)

    Do you think the P8P67 Deluxe is worth the price difference from the regular P8P67? I wasn't able to tell clearly what the differences between the 2 are.

    Get the Deluxe or the Pro version. the standard version's 2nd PCIe slot only runs at x4 and it has only the Realtek LAN controller. the deluxe and and the pro have an additional LAN port/controller made my Intel, which is better for gaming (so they say)
