Downsizing current build on a budget

Hello,

I am moving in July and need to downsize my current build. I don't think that I have enough saved to complete a new build.

My current build is:

Case- Coolermaster 690; CPU - Intel Q6600 Quad; MB - MSI nero p43 ATX; mem- 4 (1gb) patriot 800; HD- 4 500gb wd; GC - Nvidia 9600GT; PS - OCZ 500watt

I love the size of mini ITX, but a brand new build would be around $400 extra to get the same performance I have now.

Any ideas on how to downsize on a update?

Hello granno21;

Still working on this project?
What kind of budget were you thinking about?

Ya, it's still a work in progress. I hope less than $300 for everything.

You should be able to get by with a mATX motherboard and a new case.
MSI P43-C51 P43 mATX Motherboard $85

And a case smaller than that 20.65" x 8.39" x 18.98" sized RC-690.
mATX cases that HEC 6T10BB Case is $30 with free shipping till 3/30. 15.25" x 6.90" x 14.00"

To get any smaller - you'll spend more for a case like: SILVERSTONE SUGO SG02-BF $75 15.47" x 10.63" x 8.35"
