Will the HD 5570 work for my system? UPDATED

I have an older video card with a dying/dead fan. I decided I needed to replace the video card. I was thinking of the HD 4650 until I saw this post http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/295785-28-guts. So I'm thinking of going with the HD 5570 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102875. Here are my specs:

Antec SmartPower 2.0 SP-400 400W ATX12V Power Supply

GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3L LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX All Solid Capacitor Intel Motherboard

Will the HD 5570 work for my system?

UPDATE: Originally I had say the HD 5770 but I meant the HD 5570. I've updated in this post.

as for as the other componets on your system you are fine however as thryn said you psu is a little under powered for the 5770. it you have about 40 more bucks to spare you can get a decent 550w psu that will run the 5770 easily

Your motherboard has a PCIe X16 ver1.x slot so you would be safer with a version 2.0 card. There have been some frequent no video issues with the 2.1 cards in the older 1.x boards. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
That card should work fine in your system.
Edit: this HD5670 is cheaper and is more powerful and will work well in your system http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
1GB version http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

ok so 5570 is a great card if you want to play bluray videos and other HD content however if you want to game at all it would be totality worth it to go with the 5770 and a new psu

EDIT: rolli59 is right some times there are issues with 2.0 and 2.1 compatibility.

These cards are a little over budget. I was hoping to spend in the $45-55 price range. Any other suggestions?
