What is best sound card for audio streaming?

I am building an internet radio station and want know what type of sound card to use. Does it really matter?

Well, at the end of the day, as long as you can get the audio stream out in realtime, you shouldn't have any problems. Just make sure the card in question has the proper I/O you need, and you should be fine.
