kinda weird problem here i let my girlfriends nephew play a game on my Alienware Workstation with an X5Dal tg2 dual Xeon 3.06ghz processors with an HIS HD 3650 AGP card. The nephew turns the computer off by flipping the switch at the back of the computer ie. the switch on the power supply of the computer and the next time I boot up my pc the screen is messed up with lines and strange symbols during boot and after . afterwards the windows vista loading bar kinda appears and then the screen goes blank. I successfully Flashed the BIOS using the official bios from the makers website using a floppy disk in dos mode and still messed up graphics... am i hosed here?

Looks like that kid damaged the system. Only use the hard switch when you have no choice or need to power off a system in a very short time. I suspect that the card is damaged and may be beyond repair if it was already in this state before you flashed.

I suggest that you keep the kid off the machine for now on and replace the card.

I took the card to a dealer friend and he checked the card and for sure... that card is toast.... from now on im not letting anyone touch my computer even if it means i piss off a few family members for not sharing my stuff thanks guys now i gotta shop for a new AGP card for under 100$
