Memory clocks voltage... help

I set them to run at 1300, they were 1600 but i think they were overheating due low profile heatsinks, also voltages are 1.5v for ram... I have no idea how these things work so i wonder if that's ok

Overheating? I don't think so. Not if it's 1.5v DDR3 1600 cas 9-9-9-24 stock.

Set the speed in BIOS to whatever the RAM standard is ( probably what I listed above ) and you will be fine. If you are having memory errors it may be due to a bad stick but there is no way it's overheating.

If you are having errors run memtest.
