Hello,
Is is possible to use a GTS 450 (for example EVGA GeForce GTS 450 Superclocked) on a P5N32-E SLI board? The board only supports pcie 1.0, but afaik it should be compatible.

thanks in advance

Yes it's possible and should work just fine. You may want to update the BIOS just in case though as some older PCI-e 1.x boards will have trouble with newer cards if they weren't strictly adhering to the standard and thus some MB makers will have a BIOS update to address this.

Thanks!
And now after some research i am no longer sure which card would be best for me ... is it better to buy "EVGA GeForce GTS 450 Superclocked" or "Palit/XpertVision GeForce GTS 250 E-Green Edition"? In some Benchmarks a GTS250 outperforms a GTS450....
