so i was wondering if a seasonic 850x gold would be enough for a pc with a 2600k OC to 4.9ghz with 2 570's oc to 850/1700/2200MHz @1.025V along with an ssd and hdd

Solution
"GeForce GTX 570 in 2-way SLI
A second card requires you to add another ~225 Watts. You need a 750+ Watt power supply unit if you use it in a high-end system (800+ to a KiloWatt is recommended if you plan on any overclocking)."

"Our test system is based on a power hungry Core i7 965 / X58 system. This setup is overclocked to 3.75 GHz. Next to that we have energy saving functions disabled for this motherboard and processor (to ensure consistent benchmark results). On average we are using roughly 50 to 100 Watts more than a standard PC due to higher CPU clock settings, water-cooling, additional cold cathode lights etc."

Solution
I think the amount of wattage the OC will pull is dependant on the voltage being applied to the CPU, not all CPU's OC the same, some will require more power at higher speeds some do not.

Personally I think your 850x will be good, but I cannot gurantee it. Typically not every component is not stressed to the max all at the same time during standard operation. If you taxed everything to 100% then some stability issues might occur.

No gurantee you will hit 4.9Ghz and be able to OC those cards to those setting either. I dont think anyone will have an actual answer for you as well the power draw of those system specs havent been tried out yet.
