i want to buy addition 4 gb of kingston 1600 hyper x memory

not too much only cost you more than 30 watts..

but i think it is better to if you buy 2 x 4GB on your system and sell
your old memory..

because your computer only support dual channel not quad channel memory..

If he have allready 2 x2GB RAM that allready run in dual channel mode and if put another 2 x 2Gb RAM they also will run in dual channel mode ( if im not wrong wil work in dual channel slots 1-3 and 2-4 ). His mobo doesn't know quad channel.

Actually, a quad channel kit would stand a better chance of stability than 2 dual channel kits, as all 4 modules would be matched.

with 2 dual channel kits, you usually have to do some tweaking in BIOS to get them to run stably.
