Thank you for your quick response. The 6950 equates to $380 over here so unfortunately too expensive, however the 470 is $300 so is a possibility.

Would I see a great enough performance increase to justify the $50 difference in price if I went for the 470 over the 460?

I only ask because I heard that the 460 can be OC to perform similar to the 470. The again, I could OC the 470 to perform even better couldn't I?

Thank you for the suggestions, but nowhere near where I live sells those cards! :( I want to pick them up you see as I have had things damaged or stolen in the post in the past, I would have gone for one the 470's too.

I got my GTX 460 Talon from newegg for 214$. Very quiet and silent card and has not given me any worry.

Gigabyte SOC 470 is a good option but many people have complaints about gigabyte quality control so best of luck for that.

Personally i would suggest you to hold back a bit and wait for GTX 560 and see what it does to the market. All in all you won't go wrong with any of the options.

I you can find this card in Europe (where ever you're at) within your budget that's a great option.

Otherwise a GTX 470 is a very good choice as well. Quite a bit faster than a GTX 460.
