GA-MA78GM-US2H support Phenom II x4????

Hello,
I have this motherboard, GA-MA78GM-US2H (rev 1.0), and I'm currently using AMD Athlon 6400+.
I'm planning on upgrade to phenom II x4 without buying a new motherboard. I'm just wonder if this motherboard will support Phenom II x4.
Someone please help. I'm very bad at these computer stuff.

What's your BIOS version? (Start/All programs/Accessories/System tools/System information).

For the Phenom II X4 955 you need the F8 version. If you have an older version you must upgrade the BIOS first and then install the new CPU.

As pointed out by Mosox, make sure you are running the relevant or newer BIOS version for the CPU you wish to upgrade to. Or you can just install the latest available BIOS and be done with it.

I just checked my bios version and it's F8. So, Phenom II x4 955 is no problem to me right???
