I am curious if this build will work nicely together, also if the motherboard is any good. If there is anything that I could change to make it better, that won't affect the price too much, that would be greatly appreciated!

You should do a Sandy Bridge build instead. More powerful than anything 1156 and just as cheap, maybe cheaper.

Rosewill CHALLENGER Black Gaming ATX Mid Tower

    CORSAIR Enthusiast Series CMPSU-650TX 650W

    MSI P67A-GD53 (B3) LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz

CORSAIR CWCH50-1 CPU Cooler (comes with thermal compound applied)

    RAM you have should work

    Western Digital Caviar Black WD1002FAEX 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s

    LG WH10LS30 10X Blu-ray Burner

MSI N560GTX-Ti Twin Frozr II Golden Edition

In USA build would be slightly over $1K before rebates...but this is what I would do if it were me. By the way, the Rosewill Challenger is a great case for a low price. If you needed to because of S&H in Canada you can use CM Hyper 212 or DVD Burner to shave the price a little...or maybe you have an optical drive already? Have fun and good luck to you!

    Thanks for your help!!

I took your advice and reloaded my shopping cart with a sandy bridge build. I forgot to add that I do have a CD drive already. I stuck with my original GPU, HDD, and PSU to keep the price down.

So the mobo that you listed, is it okay? Can I and should I overclock anything?

Oh and the price after rebates/tax/shipping = 956.05
