Hello. I know very little in regards to part selection of a system. Please help me out, much appreciated!

Approximate Purchase Date: ASAP (preffered)

Budget Range: Up to $2000 (give or take a couple hundred).

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Hard-core gaming, Media (watching 1080p HD video files on my HDTV), multi-tasking, web browsing.

Parts Not Required: Keyboard, mouse, ,monitor, tower case.

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: N/A

Parts Preferences: N/A

Overclocking: Yes/Maybe (depends on the recommendations).

SLI or Crossfire: Not really sure, open to any suggestions.

Additional Comments: I would like for this computer to be as fast and quiet as possible. Would like to hook this up to both a monitor and another 1080p HDTV, but I do not need recommendations on monitors.

Intel's 22nm Ive Bridge cpu's come out in less than a year, and with a simple bios flash these P67 mobo's will run that cpu. It's rumored those chips o/c to 6.0ghz or better. And as far as I know, there has been zero benchmarks shown in regards to AMD's Bulldozer cpu's. As far as anyone knows...it could be a giant dud like AMD cpu's in the past 5 years.

I'm really liking this build thus far, but do you think going x2 on the 6970s is a bit overkill or no?

Not if you plan on running dual monitors in the future and playing high end games with all the effects cranked up. Go for it !

Or go with one now, and get another one later on down the road. :)

Haha thanks! Probably will be running one monitor at a time mostly. I am a little concerned with how much noise those graphics cards will make, any suggestions? Thanks so much.
