Help with my computer

Hello, I have a problem with my computer I'm currently using.

and I want to switch cases to http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146067 also I want to add this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182200 .
I'm having problem switching cases because my power supply is giving me problems, I can't figure out where all the cords go. I'm a standard computer user and doing this is a big task for me and I hope you can figure this out for me.
Also, I'm having problems connecting my HDD to my Motherboard the cord is too short if you could please point me where to where I can buy some longer cords.

You can see where the 20+4 pin main power connector is on the right middle of the board.

The 4 pin aux CPU power connector is to the left side of the CPU socket. Halfway between the socket and the left edge of the motherboard.
You should have a 4+4pin plug that looks something like this:

So I plug that cord into that tan colored 4 pin socket?
Yes, my dvd connector is also too short.

Just check to make sure that 18" is enough. It's hard for me to estimate when you'll need in that big case.

Your PSU cables. It's hard for me to make out which one is the 4+4 cable that plugs in that tan 4 pin socket. But there should only be one way to plug it in.

No, not all power connectors need to be used. They will be extras.

What type of connectors do your fans have?

That looks like a 3pin 'daisy chain' connection. To let you hook more than one fan together in line.
MB -> FAN -> FAN

It should not be random. There should be a plan and a reason for what you're doing

Did you get your CPU power and SATA cables all squared away?

To make things easy on yourself just get that top fan hooked up to a molex connector from the PSU.
Leave the side fans for another day. You really don't need them.

A molex connector is the big four pin connector. You can hook your fans up directly to the PSU using those.

I looked at every cord and placed them in a spot according to name label and pin pattern the computer wont start still I just want to get to the point where it wll start then I van start worrying about fans, ifrom my computer case I have a few cords of which are named power reset sw and power sw

Also does it matter if I connect my hdd to any number labeled sata dock? Its time for me to go to bed now I will continue this tommorrow

The case front panel USB connectors get hooked up in this part of motherboard.

It's probably best to hook up your HDD to SATA port 0 (zero). It's usually the first port.

A bright light and a magnifying glass might help you make out which pins are used for the:
power - power led?
reset sw - reset switch
power sw - power switch

Ok im going to assume the only things I need to star up this computer up are the power switvh the reset switch and the psu cables could u look from the pic of my psu cables and from left to right tell me where they go

Front panel switch connectors go to the motherboard and not the PSU.
We already talked about the PSU power cables to the board.
