I recently a new case hoping to help my heat problem: http://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=6_112&item_id=036011

and this for a CPU cooler: http://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=8_129&item_id=031388

I added Artic Silver stuff to my GPU and CPU also in helps that it would help

Anyway I have a 275 GTX and I took it apart and super cleaned it. I5 750 I don't overclock either. Just seems like the 275 is so hot even after so much...

PS: Should I have the PSU fan pointing towards the bottom of the case? it looks like below it theres a slot for air I dunno...

One is Idle, one is playing Bad Company 2, I'm sure the GPU would be even more hot I just alt tab and took a screen. My room is very cold right now from the AC so it's not a hot room or anything.

Your GPU temps are actually ok. I'm surprised that your CPU is as hot as it is. It's not really dangerous, though.

Still, you should be able to get it cooler than that with what you have. Can you describe your case fan setup?

edit: With that case, I would try to set up your PSU to pull air in through the bottom and exhaust out the back. For the rest of the case, set bottom and front fans as intakes. Use top and rear fans as exhaust.

K Well I reversed the PSU and I don't think it helped, seems worse.

Also which direction should the Noctra fans be pointing, both in the direction towards the back of the case? cause right now both are sucking out air but I had it the other way before, no big deal in terms of heat saving from what I remember.

It's a mystery why both are so heated even with everything I've done x_X Could they be failing parts?

Anyone else have ideas?

PS: Question off topic but does anyone see the 2600k or 570 GTX being cheaper this summer? I have a computer built with both and figure I will make another but only when 1 drops in price.

I well it turns out someone had my Duel View on which is attached to my 46" Samgsung on my wall which I watch Anime + Movies lol, but anyway here is the new temps with it turned off under idle and playing Bad Company 2, CPU seems still hot or is that okay for the stuff i'm using?

Edit: Ah crap... after playing a little while longer, these were the BFBC2 temps... doesn't seem much change... i don't get it now...

That's still warm. How many case fans do you have?

Double check that your CPU fans are not opposing one another.

Take kajabla's advice and try re-applying the arctic silver. You may have used too much. You can clean the old stuff off with rubbing alcohol. There are guides online for it.

However many fans came with my case is how many I have lol http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811139006&Tpk=Corsair%20Obsidian%20Series%20650D%20Mid%20Tower%20Case

I will try to reply the Artic stuff i think i did load it on... is there any guides to doing it properly (would it apply to gpu as well?)

I suppose it would apply to the GPU as well. However, you GPU temps are fine. IMO, you should focus on your CPU for now.

You probably want at least 4 case fans. Maybe check with other users who have that case.

This looks about right for cleaning. Be careful not to bend pins. you could leave your CPU on your motherboard if you are careful.

For application:

This is helpful. It illustrates that, depending on what kind of compound you have, you may need to vary your methods. You want to cover as much CPU as possible but, more importantly, you want a really thin layer and you want to avoid air bubbles.
