So I am super stoked to get my first AMD card...been saving since the 5850s came out. However I am a little disappointed to find that I cannot set my refresh rate to 75hz. I have an Acer H233H connected by HDMI on XP SP3.
CCC recognizes that my monitor has a maximum refresh rate of 75 hz. Yet I can only select 30 or 60. I have tried overriding the EDID with an INF. I have also tried manually changing the registry. I have tried powerstrip but not having luck either.
Is this a flaw with AMD (sort of apparent in my research) or is there something I am missing? Is it XP? Thanks for any help!
