Bios and 1600 mhz ram question

After my first boot and going through the bios, I noticed the below.

I have an ASUS M4A87TD EVO AMD870 that is rated at DDR3 2000(O.C.)//1600/1333/1066.

I have 4 GB of CORSAIR XMS3 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMX4GX3M2A1600C9.

In my Bios it states the ram is at 1333 mhz, now I have the option to switch it to 1600 mhz or the 2000 mhz.

My question is this, why is it reading in 1333 mhz? Is this because I need to flash the bios, or is it because I need to just set it up correctly (right mhz, timing and voltage?) or is it because the ram is bad?

Thoughts.

Might be needing a BIOS update, but either way it is nothing to worry about. Just manually change your memory settings to run at 1600. When you get into Windows, run CPU-Z and check your memory timings while set to Auto in the BIOS. You should be detected / running at 9-9-9-24 (if I recall correctly). If not, manually change this setting also in the BIOS. It is also a good idea to run a few passes of MemTest to confirm / deny your memory is good.

I D/L CPU-Z and ran it.

Looks like the Dram is running at 1333 at the 9-9-9-24. currently everything is set to auto (Mem, Timings and Voltage.

If I change the Dram from auto to 1600, I leave the timings alone but do I need change the voltage from auto to a set amount?

thanks.

Voltage is specified to be 1.65 for this ram with the 9-9-9-24 timings.

That is consistant with what is the manual for my MoBo for this listing of ram.
