Disk boot failure insert system disk and press enter

Getting error:
"DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER"

Just finished new build.

Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD7-B3
i7 2600k
Zotac GTX 580
16 GB 4x4GB G.skilll ram.

Putting in my windows 7 disk to boot for first time (just turned computer on for the very first time) and i get the error.
Yes i changed bios settingsto boot from CD-ROM .... and yes i tried booting another computer from that disk to make sure it works and it does... what could be wrong?

This is depressing right after finishing putting it all together...

THE CD-ROM is a SATA if that helps at all.

Do you have the CD-ROM in AHCI or IDE mode in the BIOS?

Check the connections on the devices.... something could have come loose or one of the connectors may not be seated all the way

I actually just got home, read this thread, and noticed the cdrom SATA was loose, omg i feel embarressed lol
