Graphic cards compatible with asus m3n78-em

hi guys need a little help from you......i have a phenom x2 545 3.0ghz proccesor and asus m3n78-em motherboard with 3 gb ddr2 ram............just wanted to know that which ati radeon card will be best for me is my board compatible with hd5850

A 5850 would be pretty overkill for what you have. A 5770 would be perfectly fine, not to mention it's about $70 to $80 cheaper. (5770 is about $130)

Can you use the HD5850? Yes, if your PSU can support the needed power requirements. The HD5850 is a great GPU, by the way.

What is your budget and what make/model of PSU do you have?

PSU is 550 watt i hope that is good enough but i am ready to upgrade it if required...... budget would be 9000-10000 indian rupees.

thank you for the advice ....i was just worried that my mother board won't support a directx 11 graphic card .......thanks again for the advice can you also tell me that my x2 545 is a 64 bit or not

Yes your x2 545 is a 64 bit and for 9000-10000 indian rupees you won't be able to buy hd 5850, for this budget go for hd 5770, it's a great card the one i own too.
