hi friends

i have rig with the following specf.

C2d e7500 @ 3.8, Asus P5G41t-M LX mobo, Xfx Ati HD 5830 @ 850/1050 GPU, Corsair XMS3 1x4GB DDR3 1600mhz Ram, sata ll 500 Gb and sata ll 1 TB HDDs, cooler master 750 watt GX series..

Win 7 64-bit os.

My windows performance rate is 5.9 due to data transfer rate...but my GPU has 7.8, CPU 7.0, ram 7.0 ...
but only data transfer rate is at low... as 5.9.
so my question is that how can i increase data transfer rate form 5.9 to highter? also want to know.... is sata ll only supports this (speed) rate?

thanks for your answers...

yeah i agree, an SSD will not only get your numbers game up, but you will definitely see a speed boost as far as performance goes.

on my recent rig that i built, all my scores are 7.5 or above and the 5.9 score was killing me. some say those numbers arent accurate for more powerful pcs....but still...numbers are addictive lol.

so when i threw in my first SSD it went from 5.9 to 7.1

yeah. i have a 90g SSd. so on it i install my OS, and main running programs that i use for work since they greatly benefit from the speed boost.

but everything else is installed on another drive.
