Powering hd 6870

Hi all,

This is my 1st time using 6870 graphic card . The card as u all know, it needed 2*6 pin pci-e power connections. I would like to know which is the most safest and efficient way to power the card.

1) Connecting the 6870 using 2*6 pin pcie connectors from the PSU

OR

2) Connecting using 1*6 pin pcie connectors and another using the molex-pci adaptor

Connecting the 6870 using 2 x 6 Pin connectors that come straight from the PSU is a better option, since, the current required at full load may not be sufficient if you use the Molex PCIe adaptor.....
