5750 Not Working

I have a Radeon 5750 card and I have been using that for about an year without any problems. But since the last few days the card has been making a lot of noise and is not giving any output. The monitor always shows no signal. I plugged in my old 9400gt and it seems to work without any problems. Is this a known problem? And if not, what should I do in your opinion? Please help!

What kind of noise is it making? Is it from the fan?

I'd think the fan has some issues and the card is overheating. Take the card out, see if dust is covering the fan, and if so clean it up with Q-Tips or a Vacuum (be careful). Put it back in and see if you hear the noise.

Describe the noise if it continues, and make sure the fan is spinning.
