I am building a new PC with the following components: P55-USB3; (2) 2 gig Patriot Memory 1066; Intel i5-750; western digital 500 gig hard drive (blue); (2) LG DVD-R 16x and a EVGA GeForce GTX 460. I am wondering what is recommended to run this complilation? I have a Rosewill RP600v2 but it will not start up the system. I assume it is the power supply and that it is not big enough. Thanks very much for your recommendation. I don't want to spend $150 on a power supply unless it is absolutely necessary.

For a single GeForce GTX 460 graphics card system NVIDIA recommends a reputable brand power supply unit with 450 Watts or greater with a minimum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 24 Amps or greater and with at least two PCI Express Supplementary Power Connectors.

I agree with @obsidian86's Antec Neo Eco 520 recommendation.

Your current Rosewill Performance Series RP600V2-S-SL power supply, made by ATNG, has awful transient load response which probably explains why your system won't start up.

Once I changed the Power Supply to an Antec 550, all works great. Once again, I wish to thank all of you. I had a friend test the Rosewill 600 and it was only putting out 380 watts at startup. It was a good Power Supply for 3+ years.
