Why don't more people get Intel motherboards (when using Intel chips)? From what I've read, they sound really dependable, are similar in price to competitors, and have Intel backed support. What am I missing? I'm a first time builder and trying to figure things out. Thanks.

Intel mobos are a bit pricey but they offer superb stability. They aren't meant for OC so if you just want a mobo that can last you a long time, get the Intel mobo.
also intel motherboards dont look that great and like e56imfg said they arent meant for overclocking. for the money you spend on an intel motherboard you could get a really nice asus, asrock or msi motherboard...
